Abstract

A connector includes a housing having a counter connector accommodating portion, a slider disposed on the housing so as to be slidable along a fitting direction, and an elastic member for pushing the slider forward along the fitting direction, the slider including a slider body having a cam groove, a slide arm elastically deformable in a first direction orthogonal to the fitting direction, the housing including a lock arm exposed to the counter connector accommodating portion and elastically deformable in the second direction, a cam projection projecting in the first direction from a side surface of the lock arm, and a slide arm deforming portion which makes contact with the slide arm of the slider retracted in the fitting direction to elastically deform the slide arm in the first direction.
