Abstract

This application provides a power converter, a method for determining a capacitance value of a flying capacitor of the power converter, and an energy storage system, and belongs to the field of power electronics technologies. The power converter provided in this application includes a controller and a direct current/direct current conversion circuit. In the direct current/direct current conversion circuit, a capacitance voltage of the flying capacitor has a voltage disturbance component of a target frequency, and a capacitance current flowing through the flying capacitor has a current disturbance component of the target frequency. Therefore, the controller can reliably calculate a capacitance value of the flying capacitor based on an effective value of the current disturbance component of the target frequency and an effective value of the voltage disturbance component of the target frequency, to implement real-time online detection of the capacitance value of the flying capacitor.
