Abstract

A photoelectric conversion device (100) includes a plurality of avalanche photodiodes (201-1, 201-2), a first counter (220-1) configured to count a first pulsed signal based on a photon incident on a first avalanche photodiode (201-1) of the plurality of avalanche photodiodes (201-1, 201-2), a second counter (220-2) configured to count a second pulsed signal based on a photon incident on a second avalanche photodiode (201-2) of the plurality of avalanche photodiodes (201-1, 201-2), and a third counter (220-12) configured to count a combined pulsed signal generated by combining the first pulsed signal and the second pulsed signal.
