Abstract

A poultry feeder 100 comprising: a store for feed, said store comprising a feeding port for enabling poultry to access feed provided in said store, and a door 102 moveable between a first position where said feeding port is open and a second position where the feeding port is closed by the door, the feeder further comprising a motor 124 that is coupled to said door, and a control system 110 operable to control the motor to move the door between said first and second positions to open and close the feeding port in the store.
