Abstract
A waterproof plastic zipper includes a pair of stringers (1) and a slider. The stringers (1) in pairs are disposed opposite to each other. Each stringer (1) of the pair of stringers (1) has a tape, a bead (3), and a tooth row. The tooth row includes multiple teeth. Each tooth of the multiple teeth has a tail and a head. The tail is formed on the bead (3). The head is configured to extend toward an opposite stringer. The head has a base and a top that are configured to be adjacent to each other in a thickness direction. A free end of the top is provided closer to the tail than a free end of the base. The top has side wing portions. A slot is provided on a side surface of each of the side wing portions facing the base. A protruding strip is provided and protrudes in the slot.
