Abstract
A system (100) for providing viewing angles for acquiring X-ray projection data representing a vascular region, is proposed. The system includes one or more processors (110) configured to: receive (S110) volumetric data (120) representing the vascular region (130). The processor(s) are also configured to determine (S120), based on the volumetric data (120), and for each of a plurality of portions (130<sub>1..i</sub>) of the vascular region, a corresponding range of one or more viewing angles (Δα<sub>1..i</sub>, Δβ<sub>1..i</sub>) for acquiring X-ray projection data (150) representing the portion (130<sub>1..i</sub>). The processor(s) are also configured to output (S130) the ranges for the portions (130<sub>1..i</sub>) and/or an optimal range of one or more viewing angles (Δα<sub>opt</sub>, Δβ<sub>opt</sub>) for acquiring X-ray projection data (150) representing the plurality of portions (130<sub>1..i</sub>), the optimal range being determined based on the ranges for the portions (130<sub>1..i</sub>).
