Abstract
A filter element (2) for reversibly capturing CO<2> from ambient air (6) comprises a shaped flat support medium (8); and adsorber particles (9), configured to adsorb CO<2> from ambient air (6). The adsorber particles (9) are adhered to the shaped flat support medium (8), wherein the combination of the shaped flat support medium (8) with the adhered adsorber particles (9) is permeable to ambient air (6).
