Abstract

A method for applying a thermo-activatable double-sided adhesive tape comprises the steps of providing a thermo-activatable double-sided adhesive tape (10) and a support (20) onto which said thermo-activatable double-sided adhesive tape (10) is to be adhered; hitting at least one portion of said double-sided adhesive tape (10) with a laser light from at least one emitter (30) capable of projecting a laser light beam (33) with a quadrangular focal spot, up to activating at least one area of double-sided adhesive tape (10); and bringing said at least one activated area of double-sided adhesive tape (10) and said support (20) into contact with each other at a contact area.
