Abstract

A head unit includes: a first head (1) and a second head (1). The first head (1) has a first nozzle array (12) and a second nozzle array (12) disposed downstream of the first nozzle array (12). The second head (1) is disposed downstream of the first head (1) and arranged adjacent to the first head (1) in a staggered manner. The second head (1) has a third nozzle array (12) and a fourth nozzle array (12) disposed downstream of the third nozzle array (12). Each of the first head (1) and the second head (1) has an overlapping region. The first nozzle array (12) of the first head (1) has a first nozzle density in the overlapping region. The fourth nozzle array (12) of the second head (1) has a second nozzle density larger than the first nozzle density in the overlapping region.
