Abstract
The present invention provides a method for producing a regenerated developer that can efficiently filter-out and remove the photosensitive resin composition from the development waste liquid generated by developing a water-developable flexographic printing plate precursor, regardless of whether the photosensitive resin composition forms flocculate or not, while maintaining high filtration performance and enabling the developing waste liquid to be concentrated to a high concentration for disposal. The method comprises: guiding the development waste liquid into a processing tank, and separating and removing the photosensitive resin composition which has been contained in the development waste liquid using a polymer porous flat membrane sheet provided in the processing tank to obtain the regenerated developer; and charging sponge pieces into the processing tank and aerating the polymer porous flat membrane sheet such that the sponge pieces hit on the polymer porous flat membrane sheet, thereby removing deposits on the polymer porous flat membrane sheet therefrom for cleaning the flat membrane sheet.
