Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium in which the activity of fumarate hydratase is enhanced, and a method for producing L-amino acids using same. The microorganism of the genus Corynebacterium with enhanced fumarate hydratase exhibits increased production capability of L-amino acids such as L-arginine, L-citrulline, L-ornithine, O-acetylhomoserine, L-homoserine, and L-histidine, compared to a parent strain in which the fumarate hydratase is not enhanced, and the microorganism with enhanced fumarate hydratase can be widely used for the production of L-amino acids.
