Abstract

The invention relates to a laundry treatment machine, in particular washer dryer (2). A control unit (68) is configured to control a drying cycle for drying laundry received in a drum (58) by: providing, from a liquid supply arrangement (84) to a liquid connection line (94), a liquid refill, corresponding to an amount of liquid sufficient to provide an air trap function of a siphon device (102), evaluating based on the pressure signal received from the pressure sensor (74) during a time period, if a pressure signal event is present, determining a lapsed time since the liquid refill, comparing the lapsed time since the liquid refill with a refill time threshold (THR_R), and if the pressure signal event is present, and the lapsed time is below the refill time threshold (THR_R), performing one or more actions, comprising: pausing or stopping the drying cycle, providing information that the filter unit (26) is not properly arranged in the air circulation arrangement, and/or pausing the evaluation of the pressure signal. The invention further relates to a method for operating a laundry treatment machine, in particular a washer dryer (2), during a drying cycle for drying laundry.
