Abstract

Method of managing the loading of a bucket (BU) of a work vehicle (WL) with bulk material accumulated on the ground to form a pile (BK), the method comprising a step (Step 6) of detecting a contact of the bucket with the pile when, during a condition of advancement of the vehicle according to a first speed value, an increase in a pressure value is detected in a hydraulic actuator supporting the bucket, exceeding a first predetermined pressure threshold (Pb + Gl), and at the same time a reduction or invariance in the advancement speed of the vehicle with respect to said first speed value, wherein said first predetermined pressure threshold is calculated as the sum of an average value (Pb) of the pressure value calculated in a time interval (T) during said advancement condition and a first guard factor (G1).
