Abstract

A wind turbine rotor blade (110) comprises a spar cap (200) having a first-type stack (202) of prefabricated pultruded planks (210). The first-type stack has a length (L1) measured in a first direction (D1), a width (W1) defined as the distance between two opposite lateral sides (204) of the first-type stack and a height (H1) measured in a stacking direction of the pultruded planks. A further prefabricated pultruded plank is arranged transversely to the pultruded planks of the first-type stack on a lateral side of the first-type stack.
