Abstract

The invention provides a food thermometer arrangement comprising a temperature probe (P) having a temperature sensor (T) adapted to provide a temperature signal (Temp) and adapted to be positioned in thermal contact with a food (F), and a transmission element (T) configured to transmit a temperature signal and/or control signals to a food preparation apparatus (H). The food thermometer arrangement further comprises a trigger element (B) adapted to generate a trigger signal (b) and a control module (C) configured to receive the temperature signal (Temp) from the temperature sensor (T) and the trigger signal from the trigger element (B), wherein the control module (C) is configured to generate a temperature control signal (Temp/Sig) in dependency of the temperature signal (Temp) and the trigger signal (b).
