Abstract

A detecting apparatus (10) for identifying and monitoring ionizing radiations, which can be used in situ for environmental detections, is provided with a detecting device (1) which comprises: a shielding shell (2) provided with a movable sealing lid; a scintillation crystal (4), contained in the inner space of the shielding shell (2), with opposed and separated receiving base (4A) and transmission base (4B); a fixed volume container (3), to receive a sample to be analysed, contained in said shielding shell (2) in a position adjacent to the receiving base (4A) and at the top opening (22B) of the device; a photomultiplier (5) extended on a geometrical plane adjacent to said transmission base (4B); and a spacer cage (6) inserted in an empty space (2A) of the shielding shell (2) which contains the scintillation crystal (4) surrounding it laterally so as to keep it aligned with the photomultiplier.
