Abstract

An aspect of the present invention provides a blanket-type coil unit that can easily match a body shape of a subject (99) and improve closeness between a coil and the subject, and a coil system using the coil unit. A blanket-type coil unit according to an aspect of the present invention is used by being wound around a subject (99) in a case of acquiring a magnetic resonance image, the blanket-type coil unit comprising: at least one first slit (102) provided on at least one side; and fixing members (104, 106) provided on both sides of the first slit (102), in which the fixing members on one side of the first slit are fixed to the fixing members on the other side of the first slit, so that the blanket-type coil unit is deformed into a curved surface (C1, C2) shape in at least a vicinity of the first slit (102).
