Abstract

A method and device are disclosed for selecting a user profile in a digital platform accessed via a device. The digital platform may enable selection of a user profile from multiple user profiles by selecting a visual representation of the user. The method and device may access a database storing meta profiles for a plurality of users, where each meta profile is configured to store, for each of multiple digital platforms, at least one identifier associated with the user's visual representation in the respective digital platform. The method and device may further identify a current user of the device and identify a digital platform that is being accessed. The at least one identifier associated with the visual representation of the current user for the identified digital platform may then be retrieved from the database. Finally, the visual representation of the current user may be selected at the device by matching the retrieved identifier to a visual representation available for selection in the digital platform. Thereby, a better user experience may be provided when accessing multiple digital platforms.
