Abstract
A method of configuring a collision avoidance system (3) for a vehicle (1), such as an aircraft, for warning an operating person (P) of the vehicle (1), such as a pilot, of a collision potential (U) with an object (O), such as another aircraft, a corresponding computer program (11), computer-readable data carrier (12), control module (6), collision avoidance system (3), and vehicle, in particular an aircraft, provided, wherein the method comprises the steps of detecting the object (O) with the collision avoidance system (3), determining the collision potential (U), and issuing a warning signal (I) to the operating person (P) if the collision potential (U) exceeds a predetermined potential threshold (T).
