Abstract

There is provided a terminal device comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the terminal device to perform: obtaining a set of carrier frequencies; obtaining a set of randomization parameters for configuring a randomization procedure for cell reselection, wherein the set of randomization parameters are associated with a particular time period; and responsive to determining that a current time is within the particular time period associated with the set of randomization parameters, selecting, based on at least the set of randomization parameters, a carrier frequency, from the set of carrier frequencies, with which to perform a cell reselection procedure.
