Abstract

A system (100) for planning an intravascular procedure, comprises an X-ray imaging system (110), and one or more processors (120). The X-ray imaging system (110) is configured to: acquire (S110) volumetric X-ray data (130) representing a distribution of a contrast agent injection in a region of interest in the brain; and acquire (S120) projection X-ray data (140) representing a distribution of the same contrast agent injection in the aortic arch. The one or more processors (120) are configured to: generate (S130), from the volumetric X-ray data (130), a first image (150) for assessing the region of interest in the brain; and generate (S140), from the projection X-ray data (140), a second image (160) for planning an intravascular procedure via the aortic arch.
