Abstract

System and related methods for facilitating operation of a rotational tomographic X-ray imaging apparatus (IA), comprising a user input interface (USI) capable of allowing a user of the imaging apparatus to specify desired one or more imaging requirements as user input. An adjuster (AD) is configured to adjust, based on the user input, one or more imaging parameters in respect of the imaging apparatus so as to improve isotropy of spatial resolution in tomographic imagery obtainable by operation of the imaging apparatus (IA) at the adjusted parameters.
