Abstract

An image forming apparatus (1) includes a conveyance section (3) configured to convey a textile in a conveyance direction, an air blow section (51) configured to blow air from an inner side toward an outer side of the textile in a width direction thereof orthogonal to the conveyance direction, a water spray section (52) configured to spray water onto an end portion of the textile in the width direction onto which the air has been blown by the air blow section (51), and an ink ejection section (6) configured to form an image by ejecting ink onto the textile onto which the air has been blown and the water has been sprayed.
