Abstract
A vehicle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a motor including a plurality of motor windings; a plurality of single-phase battery systems connected to the plurality of motor windings and including a plurality of battery assemblies, wherein the plurality of battery assemblies include a battery and a power converter, respectively, and the power converter includes an inverter including AC module output terminals outputting an AC module voltage from a DC voltage stored in the battery; and a pair of switches switching to connect the plurality of single-phase battery systems in series, in sequence, when charging the battery.
