Abstract
Provided are a fibrous material for thermoforming and a composite material for thermoforming, each containing an anion-modified pulp having thermoformability. A fibrous material for thermoforming according to an embodiment contains an anion-modified pulp in which 45 mol% or more of the anionic groups are in the form of an onium salt. In addition, a composite material for thermoforming according to an embodiment contains: an anion-modified pulp in which 45 mol% or more of the anionic groups are in the form of an onium salt; and a thermoplastic resin.
