Abstract

A method of controlling a variable-displacement pump (P) of an internal combustion engine refrigeration system, wherein the flow rate is adjustable by means of a sliding sleeve (SS) capable of being maintained in a predetermined position in relation to a target flow rate by means of an electro-hydraulic actuation comprising a solenoid valve (SV), the method comprising a step of acquiring a target position and controlling said solenoid valve to actuate the sliding sleeve to said target position only when a change (E) in position exceeds a predetermined percentage threshold (Th).
