Abstract

An assembly is provided for an aircraft propulsion system (20). This assembly includes a fan rotor (44), an engine core (38), an engine flowpath, a bypass flowpath (42), an inter-flowpath structure (108) and an air circuit (130). The inter-flowpath structure (108) includes a structure leading edge, a structure inner side and a structure outer side. The inter-flowpath structure (108) projects axially to the structure leading edge next to and downstream of the fan rotor (44). The structure inner side borders the core flowpath (40). The structure outer side borders the bypass flowpath (42). The air circuit (130) includes a circuit inlet (132) fluidly coupled to the core flowpath (40) and a circuit outlet (134) fluidly coupled to the bypass flowpath (42). The air circuit (130) extends within the inter-flowpath structure (108) from the circuit inlet (132) to the circuit outlet (134). The circuit inlet (132) is disposed along the structure inner side and is upstream of the compressor section (33). The circuit outlet (134) is disposed along the structure outer side.
