Abstract

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a connecting flange (128) of a wind turbine rotor blade (110), comprising the following steps: a) placing a first fiber layer (202) into a mold (400), b) placing a first prefabricated flange segment (300) with an outer side (314) onto a first portion (206) of the first fiber layer (202), in particular such that a second portion (208) of the first fiber layer (202) remains uncovered by the first prefabricated flange segment (300), c) placing a second prefabricated flange segment (301) into the mold (400) adjacent to the first prefabricated flange segment (300), wherein an end face (324) of the second prefabricated flange segment (301) faces the end face (318) of the first prefabricated flange segment (300) such that a gap (302) is formed between the two prefabricated flange segments (300, 301) and the second portion (208) of the first fiber layer (202) extends through the gap (302).
