Abstract

The present invention relates to a gasket arrangement (300) for a plate heat exchanger (2). A permeation barrier gasket member (310) is adapted at least partially circumscribe a port hole gasket (350) such that a permeation space (130) is defined between the permeation barrier gasket member (310) and the port hole gasket (350). An evacuation gasket member (320) is adapted to circumscribe an evacuation hole (160) in the heat exchanger plate (100, 100a) such that an evacuation space (150) is formed within the evacuation gasket member (320), at the evacuation hole (160). A channel member (330) is adapted to fluidly connect the permeation space (130) and the evacuation space (150) by extending between an outlet opening (312) through the permeation barrier gasket member (310) and an inlet opening (322) through the evacuation gasket member (320). The permeation barrier gasket member (310), the evacuation gasket member (320) and the channel member (330) are separately formed. A heat exchanger plate (100 100a), a heat exchanger cassette (200) and a semi-welded plate heat exchanger (2) are also provided.
