Abstract

The present invention relates to a gasket arrangement (300, 300a) for a plate heat exchanger (2). An inner segment (350) is adapted to at least partially circumscribe a port hole (114) of a heat exchanger plate (100). An outer segment (310) is adapted to at least partially circumscribe the inner segment (350) to define a permeation space (130) between the inner segment (350) and the outer segment (310). An external segment (320, 320a) defining an evacuation space (150, 150a) is adapted to be arranged at least partially outside a footprint area of the heat exchanger plate (100). A channel (330) is adapted to fluidly connect the permeation space (130) and the evacuation space (150, 150a) by extending between an outlet opening (312) through the outer segment (310) and an inlet opening (322) through the external segment (320). A plate arrangement (400) comprising a gasket arrangement (300, 300a) and a heat exchanger plate (100) is also disclosed.
