Abstract
Disclosed herein is a medical system (100, 300, 500, 700, 900, 900') comprising a phantom positioning system. The phantom positioning system comprises: a phantom mount (102) configured for receiving a quantitative MRI phantom (108) and an automated actuator (104) configured to reposition the phantom mount in response receiving movement commands. The movement commands are preferably embedded in quantitative MRI calibration pulse sequence commands (948).
