Abstract

A display method, includes: in response to a first preset operation on a first application, displaying (101) key information of the first application by using a first target component, where the first application includes at least one of a target application whose application type satisfies a first condition or a target application whose running state satisfies a second condition, and the first target component is located at a first preset position on a display screen of the electronic device; and in response to at least one second preset operation on the first target component, sending (102) the key information of the first application and information associated with the key information to a second application, where the second application is displayed on a display interface of the display screen.
