Abstract

An operating device capable of conducting a rotation operation and press operation is disclosed. The operating device includes a base; a rotation member installed on the base in a freely rotatable manner; a press member installed on the rotation member in a manner capable of freely sliding relative to the rotation member in an up-down direction; and a first elastic member disposed between the press member and the base in the up-down direction. In response to the press operation of the operating device being conducted, the press member is supported by the rotation member and slides relative to the rotation member in the up-down direction under the action of the first elastic member, and in response to the rotation operation of the operating device being performed, the rotation member rotates relative to the base in a state where the press member is supported by the first elastic member.
