Abstract

An electrode assembly includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a separator between the first electrode and the second electrode. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode comprises a current collector comprising an uncoated portion, and an active material layer on the current collector. The current collector comprises a resin layer, an upper metal layer provided to a first side of the resin layer, and a lower metal layer provided to a second side of the resin layer. The resin layer comprises a substrate and a plurality of conductive particles in the substrate. The substrate comprises a first region corresponding to the uncoated portion and a second region corresponding to the active material layer, and the conductive particles are disposed in at least one of the first region and the second region.
