Abstract
The invention relates to a power device (1) comprising a first modular multilevel power converter (2), a second modular multilevel power converter (3), a DC link (4) connecting the first modular multilevel power converter (2) and the second modular multilevel power converter (3), a storage module (5) connected to the second modular multilevel power converter (3), and a control circuit (6). The first modular multilevel power converter (2) is intended to be connected to a main grid G<sub>M</sub> powering an AC current and the second modular multilevel power converter (3) is intended to be connected to an auxiliary grid G<sub>A</sub>. The control circuit (6) is configured to control the first modular multilevel power converter (2), the second modular multilevel power converter (3) and the storage module (5) to stabilize the current and the voltage delivered by the main grid G<sub>M</sub> to reduce reactions in the main grid G<sub>M</sub> and in the auxiliary grid G<sub>A</sub>. The control circuit (6) is further configured to control the second modular multilevel power converter (3) and the storage module (5) to power the auxiliary grid G<sub>A</sub>.
