Abstract
An electronic device comprising a controller and a display is provided. The controller is configured to detect when no signal source is available (41). In response to a determination that no signal source is available, the controller is further configured to determine whether a broadcast source exists (42). The controller is further configured to determine whether stream source exists (43); in response to a determination that the broadcast source and/or the stream source exist, the controller is further configured to monitor the broadcast source and/or the stream source (44). The electronic device uses the digital video broadcasting Internet, DVB-I, standard. The broadcast source provides signals using a DVB standard. The stream source provides signals from the Internet.
