Abstract

A tender arm system for use with a work machine (10) is disclosed. The tender arm system comprising: a tender arm assembly (220, 820) configured to guide a hose (240, 840); and a coupling system (250, 850) supported by the tender arm assembly (220, 820) that is configured to retract the hose (240, 840) to locate a first coupler (242, 842) connected to the hose (240, 840) relative to a second coupler (344) supported by the work machine (10) and to facilitate connection between the first coupler (242, 842) and the second coupler (344), wherein the coupling system (250, 850) includes a carrier structure (610, 710) coupled to the tender arm assembly (220, 820) proximate an end thereof that is arranged for interaction with the first coupler (242, 842), and wherein the carrier structure (610, 710) includes a carrier bracket (630) sized to at least partially receive the first coupler (242, 842) and a ramp (650, 750) pivotally coupled to the carrier bracket (630) that extends oblique to the carrier bracket (630). Furthermore, a tender trailer (200, 800) for a work machine (10) with such a tender arm system is disclosed.
