Abstract

A commodity transfer system (100) for an agricultural vehicle (10, 50) is configured for a transfer of a commodity for an agricultural operation performed by the agricultural vehicle, the commodity transfer system comprising a first connector assembly (102) having: a first transfer conduit assembly (108) comprising a first connector (106) in fluid communication with a first valve (109); a support assembly (116) configured to support the first transfer conduit assembly and couple the first connector assembly to the agricultural vehicle; and a flipper arm assembly (138) comprising a rock shaft (144), a first flipper arm (162), a second flipper arm (164), and an arm actuator (140), the rock shaft being rotatably coupled to the support assembly for selective rotation by the arm actuator, the first and second flipper arms each having a first end (166) and a second end (168) and defining an opening (171) therebetween, a lateral width of the opening converging in a direction from the first end to the second end, the second end being in closer proximity to the first connector than the first end, the first and second flipper arms each being rotatably displaceable with the selective rotation of the rock shaft, wherein at least one of the first and second flipper arms includes a catch (176). Furthermore, a method of operating such commodity transfer system (100) is disclosed.
