Abstract
An aerosol-generating device comprises: an accommodating portion capable of accommodating at least a portion of an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol source; an oscillator for emitting electromagnetic waves; a supply unit for supplying the accommodating portion with the electromagnetic waves emitted by the oscillator; and a control unit for controlling the oscillator, the control unit controlling at least either of output intensity and frequency of the electromagnetic waves output by the oscillator, based on a target temperature of the aerosol-generating article accommodated in the accommodating portion.
