Abstract

System for providing a newborn with breast milk includes a container to receive breast milk fluidly connected to a tubing system to transport breast milk to the newborn, a dispensing device to convey breast milk from the container through the tubing system to the newborn, and an agitation system to the breast milk. A housing adapted to support a container, the container adapted to receive breast milk and fluidly connected to a tubing system to convey breast milk through a dispensing device to a newborn, the housing including an agitation system to agitate breast milk. Method for providing breast milk to a newborn, wherein a container fluidly connected to a tubing system receives breast milk and conveys breast milk through the tubing system through a dispensing device to the newborn, the breast milk is agitated at least prior to being conveyed through the tubing system to the newborn.
