Abstract
A method of manufacture of a projectile shell (100). The shell (100) may comprise a tail section (200). The method may comprise the steps of providing a tail section workpiece (210) formed from a first plate preform (230) and forming the tail section (200) from the tail section workpiece (210) using a hub forming process in advance of a spin forming process.
