Abstract

A computer system (900) comprising processing circuitry (902) configured for predictive traction control of a vehicle (10) the processing circuitry further being configured to: obtain current vehicle state data (110) of the vehicle (10); obtain road data (120), predict vertical loads (134) on at least one wheel and/or axle of the vehicle (10), determine global forces (136), determine a plurality of possible electronically controlled suspension (ECS) settings (140), determine a matrix (145) of traction and steering capabilities for the plurality of ECS-settings (140), and determine a suitable action (150) to be carried out by the vehicle (10) in order to achieve a balance between traction and steering capabilities for the upcoming road section (53), wherein the determination is based on the matrix (145) of traction and steering capabilities and the determined global forces (136).
