Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle front cross-member intended to be fixed transversely between the side structural flanks (1) of the vehicle and an outer roof covering (2), wherein the front cross-member comprises a profile consisting of: a base (3), a rear fixing flange (5) and a front fixing flange (10) with support surfaces intended to be fixed to the outer roof covering (2). The profile of the front cross-member defines several sectors: a central sector (6) comprising a first distance (d1) defined between the rear flange (5) and the base (3), the value of which is constant; each side sector (7) comprises a second distance (d2), the value of which is constant and greater than the first distance (d1); and each intermediate sector (8) comprising a third distance (d3), the value of which is variable between the first distance (d1) and the second distance (d2).
