Abstract

An apparatus (1) for making thermoplastic film rolls (R) comprises a station (2) for feeding a continuous film of thermoplastic material; a station (3) for wrapping the film of thermoplastic material in a wrapping tube or core (A); a plurality of rollers (4) for pulling the film of thermoplastic material and defining a path for conveying the film between the feeding station (2) and the wrapping station (3); the wrapping station (3) comprises a plurality of shafts (5) for supporting the core (A); an automatic device (6) for feeding, to the supporting shafts (5) of the wrapping station (3), a first type of core (A1) having a first flattening coefficient, and a second type of core (A2) having a second flattening coefficient, with said second flattening coefficient being greater than said first flattening coefficient.
