Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for the depolymerization of at least one organopolysiloxane, wherein the at least one organopolysiloxane is depolymerized in the presence of(a) at least one inorganic hydroxide;(b) at least one ammonium salt and/or at least one phosphonium salt having a pH value of from 5.0 to 9.0; and(c) at least one solvent.
