Abstract

The invention relates to a process for preparing an organopolysiloxane polymer (E1-1) by reacting at least one organopolysiloxane polymer (E1) having a weight average molecular weight Mw of from 1,000 to 50,000 g/mol, preferably from 2,500 to 30,000 g/mol, more preferably from 4,000 to 15,000 g/mol, most preferably 4,000 to 7,000 g/mol, with at least one optionally substituted chlorosilane.The invention also relates to an organopolysiloxane polymer (E1-1) obtainable by said process, a curable composition, an adhesive, sealant, coating material, lubricant, grease, additive, skin care products, shampoos, implants, prostetics, tubing, potting, encapsulation, insulation, gasketing, vibration dampening, bakeware, textile or fabric coating, or waterproofing agents comprising the same and use thereof.
