Abstract

Provided is a method for producing a sintered ore in which, even when a sintered ore is produced using an ore having a low combined water content, good reducibility is achieved by forming a predetermined amount of pores inside the sintered ore. A method for producing a sintered ore from a sintering raw material in which iron ores having an iron content of 58.00 mass% or more, a combined water content of 4.00 mass% or more and less than 9.00 mass%, an Al<2>O<3> content of 2.00 mass% or more, and an SiO<2> content of less than 5.00 mass% are blended in an amount of 15.0 mass% or more, and a total combined water contained in all iron ores blended in the sintering raw material is 0.0 mass% or more and less than 3.0 mass%, in which an average particle diameter of the all iron ores blended in the sintering raw material is 2.0 mm or less.
