Abstract

A metal laundry drying rack (1) with a metal frame (2) comprising at least two mutually opposite elongated tube members (3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) and a plurality of elongated metal cloth line tubes (6) on which laundry items can be arranged for drying, wherein the metal cloth line tubes (6) extend between the two mutually opposite elongated tube members (3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2) and connect the two mutually opposite elongated tube members to one another, and wherein the ends of the metal cloth line tubes (6) are flattened by a metal press process and coupled to the two mutually opposite elongated tube members by a resistive welding process, is characterized in that the ends of the cloth line tubes (7.1) are subjected to a curved trimming process before welding.
