Abstract

A threaded connection (100) includes a pin (10) and a box (20) and, in a made up state, sealing surfaces (12, 22) come into interference contact with each other, a male thread root (112) comes into interference contact with a female thread crest (212), and load flanks (114, 214) come into pressure contact with each other. In an individual state, in a case in which a surface of the box (20) is covered by an undercoating (25) that includes an alloy plating layer (251) and by a solid lubricating coating (26) in a single form, a coating thickness (tS214) of the solid lubricating coating (26) on the female thread load flank (214) is smaller than a coating thickness (tS212) of the solid lubricating coating (26) on the female thread crest (212), and a coating thickness (tS22) of the solid lubricating coating (26) on the box sealing surface (22) is larger than the coating thickness (tS214) of the solid lubricating coating (26) on the female thread load flank (214).
