Abstract

Lighting apparatus (1) comprising a lighting device (2), which is provided with a planar light-emitting surface (3) and is capable of emitting, via said planar light-emitting surface (3), emitted rays (RE), and a transparent body (4), which defines an internal volume (5) having its own access opening (6) and is provided with a concave inner surface (7), located at the boundary of the internal volume (5), and a convex outer surface (8). The planar light-emitting surface (3) of the lighting device (2) is arranged substantially at the access opening (6) of the internal volume (5) of the transparent body (4) and faces the concave inner surface (7) of the transparent body (4) to direct each emitted ray (RE) toward a corresponding first incidence point (P1) on the concave inner surface (7), which is arranged to reflect part of the light of each emitted ray (RE) as a corresponding reflected ray (RR) starting from a respective first incidence point (P1), wherein at least some reflected rays (RR) are each directed toward a second incidence point (P2) on the concave inner surface (7).
